"Didn't we just go to the future? Why're we here?!" Mike asked, waving his arms around dramatically. Dustin rolled his eyes, "just shut up! Can we please leave now?" Dustin asked. The others nodded before walking out of the elevator. They looked up at the building. "Shadyside mall, great we're at a fucking mall. Nothing ever goes wrong there!" Lucas sighed, rolling his eyes. Max slapped his arm before walking to the entrance. Everyone stared at the short girl as if she were crazy. Max turned around, "come on!" She smiled softly. She hummed as she turned back around walking into the mall.
They walked in to see three figures. Robin looked at the ground to see herself and a teenage boy stabbing her. She went to scream when Steve covered her mouth pointing to the cop shooting the boy. Nancy screamed loudly causing the officer to turn and look at them.
He froze at the sight of Max. She looked exactly like his beloved Ziggy. Hopper took this as an opportunity to grab Robin by the arm and start running. The rest of them followed quickly. The older man blinked softly as he lowered his gun. He could've sworn there was just a group of people, that his girl had come back to him.

The kids decided to visit the city, learn more about it. They were fooling around in the park. Hopper was in the middle of lighting his cigarette when Max ran straight into the lighter. Hopper had been cussing all of them out as Joyce asked some shadysiders where the nearest hospital was.
They were all waiting in the waiting room glaring at a group of teenagers who were talking about 'fruits' to a nurse. The bored looking nurse took a girl with extremely curly hair to one of the rooms. The other girl hummed as her two friends talked. She looked around the waiting room before her eyes landed on Robin. She slapped her friends arms before whispering something to him. Robin shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Hopper grunted glaring at them, "is there an issue?"
The girl shook her head, "you- I'm sorry you just look lik-"
The boy with the burgundy sweater interrupted her, "you're dead! You're supposed to be fucking dead!" He walked out of the hospital quickly, his short friend following with a tight smile. She chuckled nervously shaking her head, "I-i'm sorry about him. I'm Kate," she held her hand out to Robin who took it. "Robin," she said softly shaking her hand.
Kate pulled her hand away, wiping her now sweaty palms on her dress. "God you even sound like her!"
"Sound like who exactly?" Nancy asked, crossing her arms over her chest standing in front of Robin protectively. Kate looked at the group narrowing her eyes, "y-you guys don't know? Are you even from here? I've never seen you around before!"
El shook her head, "tim-"
Mike quickly cut her off, "no! No we're from Hawkins, Indiana. We're just visiting-"
Max quickly spoke up, "My grandma! She moved here a couple years ago and I-"
She was cut off by a blonde and curly haired girls screaming. The two girls ran hand in hand past the group. "Did they get back together?" The blonde boy asked with a bag of m&m's in his hand. Kate screamed when the masked killer from the mall ran by. The boy grabbed Kate's arm. "Where are the keys!" The shorter boy asked looking in his pockets. Kate sighed looking around. "The ambulance!" She pulled the blonde boy with her to the ambulance. The group ran after her getting in the ambulance with the three strangers.
Kate drove around the hospital to the front picking up the two girls before quickly driving to the police station. The girls went in while the group decided to hang out next to the police station. They all introduced themselves to each other before Simon decided to go to the bathroom in front of a building.

Hopper and the gang drove to C. Berman's house not wanting to be there for the fight at the supermarket. Hopper banged on the door ignoring Joyce's 'don't scare the poor lady' or 'she's a traumatized girl let's leave her alone.'
Max hummed walking around the house, opening the window and climbing in, gasping at the girl with the knife. C. Berman looked at her scared, confused, and relieved all at once. "Max! It's you!"
"H-how do you know my name?"
