Chapter Text
“Is there any indication why this happened other than to cause chaos?”
“No, none of the hero students were targeted specifically except the kid with the explosion quirk. They're saying he was a random pick. None of the villains said why they were there. No hostages were taken and the only ones who were killed were heroes. It’s very odd.”
“What about the hero students? Were they all accounted for?”
“Yes, even the one who was impersonated was hit with Eraserhead’s quirk to confirm he was the right person.”
“Were all of the hero students tested this way?”
“As far as I was told, yes.”
“Were all of the heroes tested?”
“... No.”
“So it is possible that one of the heroes that was present is not who they say they are.”
“It is a possibility.”
“Call in Eraserhead. We need to fix this.”
“Yes, sir.”

Shouta was, once again, plotting a murder.
He didn’t even know who he was murdering but he would bet a years salary that it was going to be one of the people in the office he was about to walk into.
He knocked on the door, entering when bid, and closed the door behind him. He recognized two of the people in the room but three of the faces were new to him.
“Eraserhead, you already know Sansa,” Tsukauchi says, standing to shake Shouta’s hand. “These three are; Symohony, an underground hero who has been working on the Shie Hassaikai case with Nighteye, Carion, an analyst, and Mr. Mister, a consultant to the Musutafu police station.”
“I’m more of a profiler,” Mr. Mister says, standing as well to shake Shouta’s hand. He’s half a head taller than Shouta with blond hair, blue eyes, and a strong build. Shouta can’t place his accent but it’s definitely not Japanese. “I can use water of any sort to listen in on conversations. It’s helpful for figuring out what the bad people are planning and what bad people are pretending to be good.”
“Ah, that’s why I was called in.”
“Indeed,” Symphony says from where she’s leaning back in her seat with her feet propped on the table. Her dark blue hair falls just past her shoulders in loose ringlets. Shouta spots a wedding band on her left hand that matches the one that Mr. Mister is wearing. “We’ve come to the realization that not all of the heroes were tested after the recent incident. This leaves many investigations vulnerable and compromises UA’s security.”
“It’s been over 72 hours since the incident. Do we have proof that her quirk would last this long?”
“If she has a supply of blood it would.”
“Fuck, okay,” Shouta sits down in the remaining chair and runs his hands through his hair. “Why exactly am I being called in and not Nedzu? This pertains to his school.”
“Nedzu has been informed and is making preparations. We just needed to have you offsite while he does so.”
“Why?”
“We consulted with Deku—”
“Who is injured,” Shouta protests.
“—and he has confirmed that your quirk can be used on multiple subjects at the same time in the right circumstances. So Nedzu is working on those circumstances and the plan is to do this in a way that does not make it seem intentional.”
“Okay, so what exactly is the plan?”
