Summary
1987. Patricia Des Barres is a young aspiring journalist and underground metal zine writer in Los Angeles. Headstrong daughter of a 60's groupie, she's trying to carve a path independent from her mother's wild, destructive ways. Turns out the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Enter Billy Hargrove, talented drummer for an up and coming L.A hard rock band. Chick-magnet, rough around the edges and cocky to boot. The epitome of what Patricia is trying to avoid. Unfortunately he has his sights set on her and they're both insanely stubborn.
As both their stars rise dangerously fast, and Billy’s intensity towards her only increases, Patricia finds herself sucked into a web of sinister glamour, deception, and a passion that threatens to break her completely.
