Aziraphale is used to the idea of meeting a human once and then never seeing them again due to the cruel fate of mortality, but when he sees a man multiple times over the centuries he gets curious. The man he finds is an immortal broken sorcerer waiting for someone to return, and Aziraphale is all too happy to offer him a kind smile for the rest of eternity.
