Summary
As Sharp somehow manages to be heading in the right direction, Jude observes his blatant confusion with glee. He knows the player isn’t actually too dumb—you can’t be a top pvper without having at least more than ten braincells—but Parker often jokes that Sharp gets a debuff to all smarts when Judelow is involved. Which is… flattering, to say the least.
But Jude’s normal feelings of playfulness at seeing his favorite player completely bamboozled wanes slightly when Sharp’s face comes more in view.
“Jesus,” Jude whispers out before he can catch himself

Summary
It wasn’t rare for the gods to take mortal lovers. Some were even known for it. Though, despite the undeniable divine favor beheld by those chosen mortals, most if not all tales of such a romance ended in tragedy.
Of course, there are retellings of these stories that end very differently, for often people prefer a happy, cozy ending to one that leaves them wallowing in sorrow or pity.
This is one of those retellings.

Wukong stopped plating potatoes. “... okay, but we did make out, right?”
Macaque sputtered. “What—no?”
“Ah, bummer.” Wukong’s lips quirked into a little grin before he turned back towards the stove. “How do you like your eggs, by the way?”

or, it all starts with wukong breaking into macaque's apartment drunk, and now here comes the cliché of the century: two monkeys in art school (who both are secretly lonely, broken, touch-starved messes) fall in love and try to keep their shit from getting in the way for once in their life.
