Summary
Sam suddenly felt a weight against his side and soft curls against the side of his face. “Mr. Frodo?” Sam gently nudged Frodo but the only reply was a muffled hum as the other hobbit buried his face further in the crook of Sam’s neck. Frodo’s body radiated cold even through multiple layers of clothing, but his skin against Sam’s was somehow very warm. Sam was grateful for the dim light, which hid the blush spreading across his face.

Frodo falls asleep on Sam's shoulder while sick from his Morgul-knife wound, and Sam manages to be pretty normal about it.

Summary
The human doesn’t take their eyes away from the window, but their voice rings out like a bell across the corridor. They call, “You know you can’t stop me right?” and Sans is suddenly and violently reminded that he is looking at a child. Their voice is high and sing-songy and carries the tell-tale lisp of a missing front tooth. It’s a voice that sounds like it should be singing playground songs or begging for five more minutes before bedtime.
“I’ll finish what I started,” they say, and the spell is broken. “No matter how many times you kill me, I’ll come back.” Their gaze drops to the floor and they point to the spot behind the box with a hand that shakes ever so slightly. “And one of these times I’ll beat you.”

Frisk doesn't want to fight Sans again and Sans doesn't particularly want to kill a child. Unfortunately, neither of them can be dissuaded.

Carl sat up, his eyes sparking to life. "Dr. Grace gets around, eh?"
Ryland gave him a look that he hoped amounted to, blow up into a million fiery pieces.

“They kept asking questions that had nothing to do with Quinn’s performance.” I roll my eyes and notice that I’m getting worked up again. Trying to get the midnight blue Eridian back on track had been a nightmare and I’d almost lost my composure a couple of times. “Just what I like to do and what I’ve seen of Erid so far and if they can give me a tour once my suit is finished. And they insisted I tell them what my favorite type of mineral is. I mean, why would they want to know that? What does that have to do with how their kid is doing in class?”
Midway through my rant Rocky has stopped carding his claw through my hair. He is silent for a few seconds and I’m just about to ask him if he’s alright when his whole body starts to tremble. It alarms me enough that I wiggle my arms underneath me and lift my upper body off the couch.
“Rock?”
But then the trembling morphs into full on shaking and then laughter so loud and shrill that I have to cover my ears.
