It had been a few months since Vox’s public breakdown–he’d rebuilt his reputation almost entirely since then; playing it off as a legend to the Newly-Fallen in Hell, of course able to spin everything in his favour again. It was almost inspiring, really, how… easily he’d bounced back up from such an embarrassing event. Humiliatingly emotional for someone who thrived on control and being able to manipulate other’s feelings in his favour. Speaking of Vox, Alastor missed him.
Well, not missed, he would never be capable of missing anyone, nonetheless such a self-centered and agonizing picture-box, but some form of longing.
