After three years of stubbornly staying away, Severus found himself hauling his luggage onto the train back to Cokeworth.
The idea of spending his break at Spinner’s End left something sour and familiar coiling in his chest. If it weren't for Lily’s relentless insistence that they use the holidays to mend the breaks in their friendship, Severus would have gladly gone anywhere else on earth.
Still, here he was. Miserable at miserable Spinner's End.
And as if that wasn't bad enough, James Potter was there too.
