Summary
Vox is going nuts. Their baby is over a week old by now (8 days and roughly 14 hours; that’s as precise as Vox can get because Alastor fucked off and gave birth without him and never even looked at the clock) and she STILL doesn’t have a valid birth certificate because her papa keeps shooting down Vox’s name ideas while also refusing to provide any of his own.
Don’t get him wrong, Vox is happy to let Alastor pick out their daughter’s name… but he didn’t think it would lead to such decision paralysis! How is he supposed to shove baby photos down everyone’s throat when he can’t answer the obvious and inevitable follow-up question of “Aw! What’s her name?” (Not that this has stopped him, but it’s been awkward.)

It had been begging for a refit, a reinvigoration.
