It was a ridiculous thought, really. Indisputably wrong. Irrational to the core. Convoluted. Absolutely and utterly twisted. Just like Zanka himself.
At least, that’s how he felt. Laying in his bed, in the middle of the night, alone with his thoughts and the faint ghost of that addictive, fiery pain coursing through his veins. Pain evoked by a drug more deadly than any toxin known to man. A drug with no name, no source and no recipe. And, worst of all, no antidote.
