Summary
“Can I kiss you, Jisung?”
Jisung looked up at him, through lashes dappled with rhinestone tears. Eyes wide, as if disbelieving his ears. As if it were all too good to be true; a mirage. An oasis in a desert.
Jisung nodded. “Please?”
And so with that, they leaned closer in perfect unison, and did as such.
Jisung wasn't Minho’s first first kiss, but it sure felt like it.
The first time they kissed was like a homecoming. Like something biblical; a pox on the house of whatever tries to keep them apart. Minho found it hard to explain it in something as trivial as words, but kissing Jisung felt like scooping up the universe in his hands, and watching the solar system fall between the spaces in his fingers.
Or: Minho and Jisung live above each other, and share an adjoining fire escape. Sometimes they sit on it together, and look at the stars. Sometimes they talk. Sometimes they don't. Sometimes they kiss.
Most times they kiss. And tonight is no different.
Except, maybe it is just that—different.
(In which Minho and Jisung realize they’re in love with each other, and then slow dance on a fire escape.)

Summary
“No, Bin, I’m here...I’m not lost, shut up...Yes, I’m sure this is the right place.”
Jisung glanced up at the Korean and saw a boy around his age walking towards him, phone pressed to his ear and a stuffed duffel bag slung over one shoulder. He caught Jisung’s gaze and rolled his eyes, hanging up on whoever he was talking to and shoving the phone into the back pocket of his dark jeans. The expression on his face told Jisung that the eye roll wasn’t directed towards him, but was the boy’s way of including Jisung in whatever ridiculousness he felt was happening on the phone, and it made Jisung smile. He hadn’t felt included in anything since he’d landed in America.
On top of being ignored at work, Jisung wasn’t having much luck in the friend department at school. His roommate tolerated him at best and he had a few people in his classes who he greeted every day, but his dreams of coffee and shows and strolling down the sidewalk with someone by his side had proved to be just that.
Dreams.

Summary
Jisung's never exactly been the studious type. Sure, he's smart in his own way, but that doesn't necessarily transfer over to the kind of intelligence that the education system relies on. Tired of struggling after his first semester, he takes his friend up on the advice of actually using the school library to work.
Enter Lee Minho, with his soft hair and pretty voice and his eyes that hold the galaxies in them. If he was only pretty, Jisung might've gotten away with just a fleeting crush. Unfortunately for him, Minho is funny and kind and quickly figures out that the fastest way to Jisung's heart is through his stomach-- and by being an attentive friend.
So in short, Jisung's screwed.
