Summary
Lady Sloane Mairi never entered the Quadrant or bonded a dragon. Instead, she spent the decade since the Rebellion exasperating her aristocratic guardians, who expect her to do nothing but mind her manners, smile pretty, and marry well. So when a politically-advantageous betrothal is finally secured, Sloane figures an arranged marriage will at least grant her some autonomy.
