All throughout rehearsal that day, Tsukasa could only pick up on how off Rui was acting.
Usually, he never forgot lines, was always in perfect timing, and expressed however much energy was needed for the part he was assigned to play. However, that day, Rui was spacing out, and either fumbled or completely forgot a good amount of his lines.
So of course, Tsukasa is concerned.

When Klavier had arrived at the Wright Anything Agency to meet Apollo, he hadn't expected to be seated opposite a lone Phoenix Wright whilst he waited for his absent boyfriend to return. Beyond that, he absolutely hadn't expected to unearth decades of guilt with the man he thought he'd ruined. Foolishly, he'd wondered if there would be a huff of annoyance or a sharp glare.
Only, Phoenix showed him no resentment.
