Summary
"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.
Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.
Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.
Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.
His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.
"NO!" Pomni screams.
(or: pomni pulls jax back from the brink.)

Summary
“I didn’t expect it to be such a gripping story, really”, Sasaki continues, eyes glued to the screen as if he doesn’t notice the weight shifting beside him, “I’ve only watched two episodes but I’m getting the sense that the BL aspect is really important to the plot. I don’t think it could’ve been set up this way had it not been BL.”
It would be so easy to bend to gravity. It would be easy to tumble bodily into Sasaki because the couch is actually more of a loveseat and the cushions aren’t firm enough to hold their shape when pressed. The trajectory, if Miyano were to follow the call of physics, would angle him rightwards until he falls, shoulder to shoulder against his roommate on a sofa that suddenly seems far too small for two.

Or: Miyano moves in with Sasaki, and the rest follows easily.
OR Or: Wherein falling for your roommate is all too easy, but coming to that realisation is exceptionally hard.

Summary
A week and a half late birthday fic for Miyano Yoshikazu. What else is there to say?
“It’s to set you up for what’s probably gonna be your favorite surprise of all!” Tashiro harrumphs in answer.
“What? There’s more? ” he shoots him a look full of incredulity. There’s no way that could be true.
“Of course there’s more,” with only a smirk, Tashiro places his hand along his back and gently pushes him ahead of the group, gesturing to him with an angled nod to look straight ahead.
tl;dr this is just the author's one gargantuan delusion.

"I'm so selfish," Miyano made himself admit. He wasn't quite ready to unpack everything, but he felt like he owed this to Sasaki. It wasn't the first time his boyfriend had noticed his behavior and if his train of thought continued then it would happen again, "I just- This is frustrating. I'm frustrating, not you."
"You're frustrated with yourself," Sasaki repeated, leaning more across the table to try and get a glimpse of his face, "Why?"
"I just…"
Miyano trailed off. He needed to collect his thoughts.
Sasaki waited patiently like he always does.

Miyano struggles with the distance now that Sasaki is away at college. It wasn't always like this, he didn't used to harbor these suffocating feelings of loneliness or the newfound jealousy towards Sasaki's classmates. He wishes it was easier to deal with.
Miyano and Sasaki have a much needed talk about things.
