It is nothing like last time.
Last time was all hot summer nights and naughty whispers. Forbidden meetings and stolen moments. Last time was all the fun of a compatible partner with little of the emotional conflicts. They were younger then, caring less about consequences and more about pleasure, and had basked in their brief intense affair while their rule bearer scorched under a Mexican sun.
This is nothing like that.
