Summary
Whitaker hadn't lied when he said he grew up rural but he may or may not have undersold quite how rural the first year or so of his life was. It was fine though there was no reason to drag up the past, he had a good job, new friends and a tolerable living situation. The last thing he needed was to drag up old memories.
He doesn't get much of a choice though when an old family friend shows up to the ER with a Jane Doe suffering from a rather suspicious overdose

Summary
A slight jolt of excitement thrummed through Neil as he entered the lounge of the Foxhole Court. It wasn’t his first time here, but this was the first time he entered to find the exy team assembled there. Coach Wymack paused in whatever speech he was giving as he entered. Andrew caught Neil’s attention straight away, but Neil only allowed himself a moment to look at him.
“Who the fuck are you?” A boy with dirty blond hair curled a lip at him as he entered.
Coach Wymack flicked the guy a look and held up a finger to silence him, “Gordon.”
Neil drew his eyes away from Andrew. “Hey Coach Wymack, Coach Griffiths says the Vixens are stuck across the county and asked the dance team to step in for tonight. I need the spare key to the Vixen’s changing room.”

Summary
Tim Drake thought he was going to die when got thrown through an unknown portal during a fight against a magic user. Instead he got sent to an Alternate Earth — one without vigilantes, superheroes, or metahumans, and, most importantly, without his family. Tim tries to keep his head down while searching for a way back home, but with each passing month, he loses a little more hope.
Exy wasn’t part of his plan; it was never supposed to be more than the unfamiliar sport that existed here and that his alternate self apparently played. But months pass, Tim is still stuck and unable to freely resume his activities as a vigilante without drawing too much attention in this world, so he starts using Exy as an outlet for his growing frustration.
He definitely didn’t expect or plan for his playing to bring him one Coach David Wymack to his school with an offer to play for his team.

Summary
Neil and Stuart make a deal. Neil will stay at Stuart’s house for the rest of the summer and in August Neil can decide if he wants to stay or if he wants to go. His decision is already made. There isn’t anything here for him and he knows that if he stops running he will be as good as dead in a few months.
It’s unfortunate that this is the moment in his life when he finally meets a group of people that are willing to see past all of his never ending issues and give him a second chance at life. Even if they can manage to give him a thousand reasons to stay, he doesn’t think that it will be worth it in the end. He’s leaving and nothing is going to stop him, at least that’s what he keeps telling himself.
A summer trope filled story that takes place over three months.

The smart thing to do was bail. Even if Kevin didn't know who he was, this was a terrible idea. The Foxes spent too much time in the news and it'd only get worse with Kevin on the line. Neil shouldn't submit himself to that sort of scrutiny, especially not with Naomi at his side. Naomi wasn’t only missing from the Wesninskis’ circle; she was a child reported missing to the police. Her infant face had only stopped showing up on milk cartons a few months ago.
