Summary
Sanji is pretty sure the older boys don’t like him very much, but Luffy makes up for it. Luffy isn’t quiet or shy about the things he hates or the things he likes, and Sanji would have to be deaf and blind to miss how much Luffy likes him.
It makes him willing to put up with Ace and Sabo’s bad attitudes—willing to spend his free time climbing a mountain, picking his way carefully to the edge of the dense, looming rainforest, to cook meals for a group that is two-thirds suspicious and ungrateful—because then he’ll get to see Luffy’s big, silly smile.
Sanji is quickly learning that he would do almost anything to see that.
The cruise ship Sanji works on docks at Dawn Island, where he meets three of the locals, who worm their way into his life and change it forever.

Summary
During what was supposed to be a quick rendezvous on Kuraigana Island, an unexpected storm forces the Straw Hats to spend the night in Mihawk’s castle. There are plenty of beds to go around, but somehow Sanji and Zoro still end up in the same one. Fighting and feelings ensue.
Or: Sanji unwittingly becomes a Gothic romance heroine, Mihawk’s attempts at gracious hosting backfire, and Zoro just wants to get some goddamn sleep.

Summary
It didn’t take not one week on the Going Merry for the rest of the crew to realize that Sanji was the only member who knew how to tie a tie. He wore one practically everyday; it was like a Sanji Staple. Why would anyone else ever need to know how?
Eventually, Sanji came to terms with his lost cause of a crew and actually turned the situation into something positive for himself. Just like he loved being able to provide for the crew in the form of cooking, he was able to provide for them in the form of… tying ties when they needed him to?

Summary
Luffy loves meat. That’s just a fact. A fact that Sanji knows very well, as it feels like every other moment Luffy is pestering him about giving him meat or food. Even if Sanji does find it annoying, he loves his captain with all his heart, and only wants the best meals for him. So, when he sees that his birthday is coming around, and they’re stopping at an island famous for having the finest grade meat on the planet. He can’t help but hatch a plan.
