Summary
Back in 2016, when both Overwatch and Pokémon Sun & Moon were still new, I indulged in both of them. I quickly grew fond of Roadhog, who was characterised as being ruthless and violent, but had a "secret" soft side, loving all things small and cute.
At some point, I wondered how he'd treat Lillie and Nebby; but it wasn't until half a decade later that I properly entertained this idea. The result (after one scrapping and two revisions) is this "little" story I like to call "Junkerlillie" (with Snowy instead of Nebby). Two more years later, an originally 10-page story has "accidentally" expanded into a bigger crossover world with a fair amount of world-building and original characters. Whoops.So, what would happen if our favourite nerd princess Lillie found herself far away from the luxurious comforts of her home and Alola, in the hostile outskirts of Junkertown? How will she get back home if she can't remember how she got there in the first place? How much will Roadhog be willing to sacrifice his comfort and patience to aid this girl and her strange little companion? Can he keep Lillie safe if someone comes to settle scores?

Summary
The fluttering sensation in Lillie’s stomach verged on being overwhelming; in fact, it was no longer confined to just her stomach. She could feel it with her whole body and every breath she took. By no means was it a bad feeling in the slightest. Her answer was a nod – a timid one, but full of hope.
With the permission granted, Mallow pecked her cheek. And again, and again, until she finally heard those sweet, sweet giggles from the sweet, sweet girl she had the pleasure of calling her companion. Before she knew it, their fingers were laced as if they had a will of their own; then, Mallow couldn’t resist rubbing her nose against Lillie’s cheek.

With their date having no further obstacles, they left the school and headed to downtown Hau’oli. Steenee and Snowy followed closely, and it seemed that the fruit Pokémon had a lot of berry interesting things to say to the Vulpix. The girls wondered if Snowy understood any of that.
As they walked through the fruit market and basked in the hustle and bustle of it all, Mallow reached to hold Lillie’s hand and laced their fingers. She looked at the blonde to see if she minded, and was met with a little smile and blush so soft it made her heart flutter even more.
It truly felt like a dream. They were on a date! The two of them! Together! On a date! The feeling grew in strength after Lillie gave her hand a gentle squeeze. Mallow couldn’t help but burst into giggles and wrap her arms around her.Series
