“Her name is Murder Princess,” Katsuki announces, and pets the kitten down her back all the way to her tail to make her purr loudly. “See? She likes it.”
Izuku valiantly resists pointing out that it’s going to get shortened to Princess just like his name has been shortened to Dynamight, because he wants so badly to hear Katsuki baby-talking this kitten. He needs it like he needs air.
“It’s perfect,” he says. “Murder Princess Bakugou.”
“Why are you giving a cat my last name?”
“Well, she’s yours. Who else’s name would she have?”
“She’s—” Katsuki catches himself before he can get wound up, taking a deep breath, and turns a glower onto him. “You’re fucking with me, aren’t you?”
It's one of Izuku's new favorite things, so absolutely yes, he is.
