therapistperformance coach--who, unbeknownst to all of them, just happens to be the very sameperformance coachtherapist guiding Roman through the wreckage of his bullshit post-Logan existence. -

Gerri is spiraling tastefully. It’s fine. She’s fine. Absolutely no one is masturbating to a perfectly curated archive of mess in 4K. Nothing to see here.

Summary
“All I’m saying is: look at us, two intelligent, accomplished people, who work very closely together, who perhaps have grown fond of one another and perhaps might choose to spend a little time together…extracurricularly. And if Logan and the rest were to jump to certain conclusions about the nature of that time, maybe we just…wouldn’t correct them.”

Summary
Of course he can’t be their father figure, he’ll fuck everything up. He does fuck everything up. He’s Connor Roy, the test round, still basically living at home because no one cares about him unless he’s standing in Dad’s shadow. He isn’t their parent, and thank goodness for that, right? Something about trees and their apples.
(or: glimpses of Connor being the only actual dad his siblings have ever known juxtaposed against their present-day indifference.)
