His father only cared about his tech. Raph, Mikey, and Leo were tired of him constantly letting them down. April would grow annoyed with his antics eventually. Casey needed his old family back, not Donnie.
However, he could still be useful with his work. If they needed it, they needed him. Maybe that would be enough to balance out the amount of trouble he caused them. It’s fine.
(Maybe if he worked hard enough, they would finally love him.)

Something was…off.
Leo’s demeanor felt different than usual. He was being less coordinated, but more than anything…he was happier. Although he put on a serious face and trained in the dojo for longer than he should’ve been earlier, here Leo was giggling and smiling like he was on pain meds again. Did he have rat flu or something?
