Jackie pushed herself up and swiftly repositioned to be sitting on Shauna’s lap, facing Shauna. Her brows furrowed in confusion as she glanced at Jackie, a silent way of asking, ‘What are you doing?’
She didn't answer her; instead, Jackie raised her finger to her own lips, telling Shauna to be quiet.
Jackie felt Shauna wriggle slightly underneath her as she leaned her head to the side to be able to see the screen; it only made Jackie’s smirk grow. This was going much smoother than she’d imagined.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Jackie questioned as her voice came out nervous, which made her ears burn with embarrassment. She practically threw the pencil at Shauna’s side of the desk before retreating her limbs back to her own side.
Jackie had never felt like this before, especially around Shauna.
Her stomach was in knots, the sensation so overwhelming the girl couldn’t quite say if it was pleasant or unpleasant. All she knew was that she was feeling something, and it was utterly bizarre.
Jackie Taylor rarely felt nervous, but at that moment, she swore it was the most on edge she had ever felt as her best friend watched her with those big doe brown eyes.
Shauna chuckled lightly, her brows furrowed together as that stupid smile widened as she kept gazing at Jackie weirdly. “Like what?” She questioned, sounding as equally as confused as Jackie was.

The older woman's brows furrow together in confusion, staring at Jackie as if she had two heads, and Jackie isn’t even offended because she knows what a freak she sounds like right now. She lets out a sigh, nodding her head.
“A lot.” She answers first before nodding her head to the left. “Go left, and you’ll see signs that’ll lead you to the maternity ward.”
“Thank you very much,” Jackie replies with a smile, waltzing down the corridor soon after as the cop trails behind her by a few feet, his leather boots thudding against the clean floor. She swallows dryly; she seriously needs to stop speeding.

Begrudgingly waking up, Jackie let out a yawn, yet it didn’t feel the same as the typical morning yawn. It didn’t even sound like a typical yawn. It sounded more like a meow.
Jackie opened her eyes as she took in her surroundings. Her room seemed completely normal, and there wasn’t a sign of a cat anywhere. She tried to push herself upwards to get a better view, but the change was insignificant.
No way.
Slowly, the girl looked down at her body, expecting to see her stomach and chest, but instead was greeted with white fur.
