Peter Parker didn't grow up fighting—he grew up struggling. He grew up knowing the struggle, but not the fight.
(he's starting to know the fight well by now. It seeps through his bones, leaving its tired and heavy weight behind, wearing him down beyond his years)
Wanda Maximoff grew up fighting. She could barely remember her life before it. Everything was ripped away, again and again. When the calm finally hits, it feels wrong. Having everything at her fingertips, all of it soaked in blood money. The money that killed everything she'd loved.
(Wanda almost misses the fighting. Something about it made her feel alive. Like she had a purpose, somehow)
or, Peter is homeless after Aunt May dies and a series of less-than-ideal foster homes. Wanda leaves the Avengers Compound because she'd rather do anything else before she lived off of Stark's blood money. Somewhere in the middle, Natasha is threatening Clint about being called 'maternal'.

Namely, college, figuring out what she was going to paint next, and reading the next book in her favorite series. Then she meets her soulmate and things get... different. She really isn't sure how to feel about any of this, honestly.

Summary
Cordelia is one of the most well-respected, up and coming actresses in Hollywood. She loves the art, and she would do anything to make sure her movies make an impact and succeed in spreading the messages she believes they're supposed to. She takes her career seriously, and she can't stand actors that don't.
Sumia is an actress trying to escape her 'Disney'-esque reputation. She wants the world to take her seriously as an adult, and not as the former child star/musician that used to be in every ad campaign in the world. She knows she can act, and she just needs the right opportunity to prove it.
And when Sumia is cast in a movie with Cordelia, she thinks it's her chance to really prove herself as the talent she knows she is.
If only Cordelia would stop glaring at her every second of the day.

815 was currently in a van. Which wasn’t a rare occasion, he thinks. Currently, 815’s brain is full of static with only the occasional thought that presses to his forehead and eyes. It’s different from the sharp, ice pick-like force that starts at the base of his neck and travels down his spine. Something that breaks away his current thoughts of his training, and the cycle of obey. Something that screams, leave, run, danger. Something that is far beyond the seams of his tracksuit and the metal of the van.

His head jerks to the side as the word comes into his mind. He cannot hear what his handlers are saying. The drugs have halted his hearing temporarily, and the ziptie holds his wrists in place for now. He will not disobey.
They shove him in through the warehouse doors quickly. His legs drag slightly as he tries to regain his balance

After the events of No Way Home, Peter is completely alone, the entire world having forgot him. Unfortunately for him, that means Nick Fury sees him as an dangerous, unknown enhanced individual and sends the Avengers to bring him in.
(not totally canon compliant, Natasha is alive but Tony still died in the snap, Bruce and the Hulk are not merged like they were in endgame, Steve never stayed in the past so he's normal not old, and the event of No Way Home all happened [lowkey I just forgot about some of those things happening until I was already like 4 chapters in, sorry lol])

He wonders how much more he can take and whether the growing grudge between him and the Avengers will be enough to finish him off for good. Will he be able to complete his mission in time? Does he even want to anymore?

Summary
Peter Parker’s life was amazing.
He was in the top of his class, a brilliant future scientist. He also had his awesome hero abilities he used to fight crime under the alias of Spider-man. And with the support of his best friend, Ned, and his Aunt May, he felt unstoppable. Things were far from perfect, money’s a little tight, and maybe he should sleep a little more, but life was good and Peter was happy.
That's until a drunk driver crashes into Aunt May driving home from a late shift, taking her life. Forcing him to choose between the streets or the nasty foster care system.
But it's fine. Peters got it under control, at least he still has Spider-man. Except he managed to land on none other than SHIELD and therefore the Avenger’s radar, who are now trying to track him down for apparently being a threat.
OKAY, fine things are tough. But at THE VERY LEAST, he has his awesome superpowers to help him over this rough patch. Right? Nope, apparently the stress of everything is causing his abilities to mutate further, leaning him more spider than man, and he’s horrified as the new developments make it increasingly difficult to live a normal life outside of heroism.Peter Parker’s life is so not amazing.

Summary
There are very few things that manage to capture Tony Stark's attention for more than five minutes at a time, but a month after deciding to unmask Spider-Man, and he's still reasonably obsessed with figuring out his identity. Okay, maybe a tad more than reasonably obsessed, even by his own standards.
But at least he has a brand new intern to keep him distracted for the time being. Even if the kid doesn't respond to his own name half the time, and dodges every somewhat personal question Tony throws his way, he's kind of growing fond of him.
Maybe he really is going crazy.
Or: Peter Parker is confident he can keep his three identities separate. It's not like he has billionaire tracking his every move, or anything.
