'As soon as they stepped out of the station, M’gann felt a raindrop fall on her cheek.
“Oh,” she exclaimed in surprise. “I think it’s raining.” She reached her hand out to feel the falling pellets of rain.
Kaldur and Wally followed her motion, holding their hands out as well.
Wally pouted when he felt the light drizzle fall onto his fingertips. ‘Not again,’ he thought as he rolled his eyes. It really was as if the city had it out for him—how had it known he hated rain? It was like the city was making an effort to get on his nerves.
“I miss Central,” he sighed morosely. “Are you really sure this place is as pretty as you say?” he asked, turning to Dick. His breath caught in his lungs.
Dick’s face was tilted to the sky, feeling the raindrops fall on his face. The droplets clung to his eyelashes and fell falteringly off his bangs. His jawline was frighteningly sharp.
Wally bluescreened.
