Summary
“I think my hair has a mind of its own,” Hypnos replied. He barely felt any tugging as Zagreus unknotted the ties and gently untangled his hair strand by strand. For all his brashness and brutal fighting abilities Zagreus could be extremely gentle. Hypnos knew it already, but it reminded him just how comfortable he felt with the other god.

Summary
The fireplace crackled lazily with the last few logs it had been fed, and its flames painted stark highlights and shadows on the two women’s faces. Ciri’s eyes danced over Ves’ features, hopping from one freckle to the next and admiring the way the dark kohl around her eyes brought out the deep blue of her irises.
Late at night, after everyone else has either gone out or to sleep, Ves and Ciri sit by the fire, face to face. As they talk about the past and their relationships to the people in their lives, Ciri can't seem to take her eyes off Ves. There's something she's been wondering, and finally, she finds the courage to ask.

Summary
“Sit.” Vesemir pushes Letho’s sleeve back and begins to clean the wounds with deft, efficient movements. It makes Letho wonder how many times he must have done it, for himself, for his pupils, for his fellow witchers.
He flexes his fingers experimentally when Vesemir has finished with the stitches, nodding in approval. They are small and neat, and his movement is barely restricted – there isn’t even a need for drinking Swallow, like he would do on the Path just to stay in fighting shape. And what a luxury, he suddenly realises, to be able to take the time to recover properly and give his body the rest it deserves.
*After the Battle of Kaer Morhen, the slow rebuilding of the keep begins. Letho stays to help with the task - and over time, more and more witchers join them. Until, finally, the last of Vesemir's pups comes home, quietly grabbing hold of Letho's heart.
