Wind Archer. A professional sniper who never misses his target. Serves directly under Millennial Tree: head of the Arbor Vitae crime family. He appreciates the safety that comes from being the trusted companion of one of the most powerful men in the world. But this safety is threatened when a mysterious vengeful syndicate has begun to threaten the power Arbor Vitae has, lead by an elusive woman only known as "Dark Enchantress".
After taking care of a double agent in their midst, Wind Archer comes across a wounded Fire Spirit: A boisterous and impulsive young man wanted by the powerful Red Dragon, head of a distant crime family, for stealing their most prized possession - a fiery red ruby with mysterious powers.
Understandably, the reserved Wind Archer dislikes Fire Spirit's loud, hot-headed and reckless personality. But with a new threat rising and the two sharing a common enemy, he is forced to accept any help he'll need. Millennial Tree encourages the young sniper to make friends with the volatile Fire Spirit. Begrudgingly, Wind Archer begins to... Tolerate him.

Fire Spirit knows that life likes to throw curveballs at him. There are times when he welcomes them, like how he found himself befriending Wind Archer, the cute yet emotionally distant florist in town. In fact, there's a high chance they're on their way to becoming something more than friends, with Fire Spirit having confessed his feelings and Wind Archer having not completely shot him down.
But then there are the curveballs that he doesn't welcome, like when he visits a newly opened tea shop with Wind Archer, gets offered a job there on the spot, and accepts for some godforsaken reason. It's a ridiculous turn of events, but it's not one that he necessarily would have minded that much, if not for one thing:
The tea shop owner is Wind Archer's ex.
(Or, the one where the Eternal Flame himself begins his stint as a lowly tea shop barista, working alongside someone that seemingly everyone but him considers infallible. Soon enough, floodgates are opened, unleashing waves of self-doubt that he thought he had left in the past.)
