Summary
There, staring at him, is a huge eye. If the size wasn't intimidating enough, the colors are deeply unsettling. It's unlike anything that Impulse has ever seen, with bright cyan iris, deep teal pupil, and the sclera an inky black. Impulse feels his anxiety spiking again, heart suddenly racing and breathing getting more difficult the longer the eye stares, unblinking.
He tries to get up, to scramble away, but he's frozen in fear. “H...he...hello?” He stutters out.
There's a huff, and what sounds like a strange sniffing sound. “Who are you, and why are you in my lair?”

Tango grins sheepishly when he realizes that Impulse has stopped talking and is staring at him. “Was I staring again?”
Impulse huffs, leaning down to kiss his husband gently. “Dreamy-eyed and everything. Unbecoming for a horrible monster like you.”
Tango laughs, reaching up for Impulse's shirt and pulling him in for a deep kiss. “Very rich, coming from you, demon.”

Summary
Joel dives down, down, down into the lake. His strong, armored tail guides him easily through the water as he evades huge white wings. His instincts scream to get away from the swan chasing him, and he knows that means down. His heart is racing; every time that he thinks he is gaining on the avian behind him, they somehow gain more speed.
“Fuck,” he gasps, taking a turn, trying to make it for a cluster of rocks that he likes to hide behind.
“Too easy!” A voice taunts, darting in front of him and cutting him off. Joel cries out, turning again and trying to swim away. He doesn't get far, as he's scooped up in surprisingly strong arms and pulled up toward the surface. He squirms, desperate to break free, to get away from his hunter.

“Well!” the man claps, waving down the bartender, who looked suspiciously familiar. Drinks are ordered in a blur, with a big smile on the bartender's face. “Let's get you a drink, and I can show you how it's done around here.” Before Impulse can even respond, there is a hand in front of him. “Joel.”
It took Impulse a moment to process what was happening, before he took the offered hand to shake it. “Impulse.”

Summary
The day that would become the start of the worst time of Impulse's life started out like most others. He was darting through the depths, chasing after a fish, laughing to himself as he darted around some kelp. He never thought to stop and look at the world around him, and certainly never thought it would be the last glance of it he'd ever get. He was so focused on the fish, in fact, that he never even noticed the shadow looming above him until it was too late and he found himself snagged in a net.

Summary
Ghost hunting's not an easy gig. While the rewards can be great, the sacrifices can be greater, and Joker, Impulse, Tango, and Skizz found this out the hard way. Years after they go their separate ways, Tango and Joker are approached by Gem, a member of Impulse's new ghost hunting team—a team that has gone mysteriously missing on a job gone wrong.
Gem needs help, and despite all of their years out of the business, Tango and Joker can't resist the call to return to the world of ghost hunting. There are still so many questions they need to answer, after all—like why did Impulse stay, even after everything went wrong? What happened to Gem's team? And why did no one tell them about Skizz?
