Summary
After months hidden away, Jason returns to Gotham with Slade in tow. Slade’s feeling pleased that he’s course-corrected Fate’s mistake, and he’s quite happy to enjoy the benefits that come with a karmic partner. At the same time, not everyone is thrilled at this new development—Bruce and Dick are highly alarmed, and soulmark or not, they’re dead set on convincing Jason that Slade is manipulating him for his own gain. As a result, Jason begins to question his own agency in his new karmic entanglement with Slade.

2) If sarcasm was tangible, Jason would be choking on his own words right about now.
