Summary
It wasn’t really a big deal, just falling over a branch during his PE class.
Yet as he pulled himself up, no one came over to help him. His classmates continued to chase each other with screams and giggles, and his teacher was sitting to the side, conversing with another teacher in whispers, not even sparing a glance when one of his students became injured.
It was at that moment Akira truly felt the feeling of loneliness.
It was like a chasm of darkness, waiting, waiting, to swallow him up. He could feel his heart falling deeper and deeper, as his lower lip trembled and tears became to form as the pain started to catch up with his brain-
“You would truly let something as insignificant as this get to you!?”

AKA a fic where Akira meets Akechi a few years earlier...just not in the way expected.

Summary
"Personally." Goro begins, speaking carefully, "Being in the public eye, I come into contact with many adults. Not all of them with the same respectful mindset as you."
He pulls his gloves tighter, looking at her pointedly, "I wear gloves to separate myself from them. I wear my uniform to remind them that I am still, legally, a child. So" He sighs, "I cannot say that I, as a teenager, enjoy that sort of attention, or would seek it out..."
Becoming quiet for a long moment, Akechi finishes with, "However, if this situation is to be believed, and someone my age did seek it out, than I can say with some certainty that he is absolutely being harmed.”

Summary
Goro had won - it was officially logged, signed off in ink, and neatly filed away under Sae Niijima’s watchful eye. But no one prepared him that this so called victory would pull up a chair at his kitchen table - wearing the quiet, unblinking eyes of the boy he’d shot to earn it.
Or
Akechi Goro shoots Amamiya Ren in the interrogation room and doesn’t look back, yet hallucinates (or does he?) the boy three days later.

Summary
Akira had marked it on his calendar: less than two weeks to live. Why not kick off his hell month with an awesome Halloween with his friends (would-be-murderer included)?
Akira didn't know he'd never get the chance to try on his costume.
