Summary
Felassan is dead. Almost.
After being murdered by his best friend, he encounters a fragment of Mythal in the Fade. For reasons she refuses to explain, she grants him one more year of life - enough time to go back to Solas and try once again to reach him.
But then Felassan stumbles into something at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, and now he has ancient elvhen magic welded to his hand, and the humans are convinced that he was sent by Andraste, and meanwhile Solas is pretending that they've never met. Oh, and Felassan is maybe a little bit in love with the man who has already killed him.
He has one year left to live, and it's already shaping up to be a disaster.

Summary
The utter classic 1999 film The Mummy reimagined: Wise-cracking, gun-slinging adventurer Eleanor 'Nell' Lavellan leads librarian/Evanurist Dr Solas Raine and his loveable lout brother Felassan to the Black City, rumoured to be where God-King Elgar'nan hoarded the wealth of the ancient Elvhenan empire. Dr Raine puts little stock in the whisperings of the place being protected by an evil undead, and it seems it might be up to Nell to ensure they all make it out of this alive.
This piece uses a custom workskin just to give it some fun flair, but please feel free to turn it off using the 'Hide Creators Style' button on the top toolbar.

Amidst the suffering, the death, and the trauma, she must carve an identity for herself. But is it necessary for a hero to lose their own identity for the good of the world, or is freedom still possible within the shackles of a title?
