Summary
Chan didn't care if he upended their lives so long as they still amused him. He didn't love any of them. He didn't know if he could love in a romantic sense. Perhaps he hoped to find love in the beds of men who could be made to love him. He never allowed himself to dwell too deeply about his motivations, but he certainly couldn't deny them. Soonyoung and Vernon were both exceptions. They were all motherless children. Perhaps Chan saw himself reflected in Soonyoung and Vernon which made it easy for him to love and care for them because he certainly loved himself.
Home from his first year of college, Chan adds intern to his resume as he begins work at his father's company. On his very first day, one of his colleagues catches his eye. Unfortunately, the older man promptly turns him down, but Chan won't be dissuaded so easily.
Next door, his neighbor and best friend Vernon is a high school senior with a secret. Will his secret end up costing him everything?

Fifty texts and twenty missed calls from Junior — not what Force expected the moment he turned off airplane mode.
He had just landed in Thailand after a long flight from Singapore, standing at the baggage carousel with his friends. All he wanted was to text his mom:
“Landed safe. Coming home. Make more food.”
Simple. But Junior’s messages made that nearly impossible.It was almost 9 PM. The flight had been delayed five hours due to weather — he should’ve been back by 3. Still, the delay wasn’t so bad. He’d picked up some cute hats for Book while waiting. He figured it’d earn him points.
Then came another call.
P’Tay.
Force answered, but all he heard was static. Then:
“Ju?”“Hello?” Force said, weaving through the crowd for signal.
“Can you track Book’s location?”
He stopped.
“What?”“Book is missing,” Tay said, panic rising.
“We’ve looked everywhere. He’s not answering. His phone’s off. We’re worried.”Force closed his eyes.

Summary
Force has been on the run from The Ancients for 500 years.
