Feyd had known what Paul was from the first moment he laid eyes on him. He'd just refused to accept it.
In those first months on the road Paul revealed himself to him slowly, gently and with growing confidence, like a velvet moth unfurling its dark wings for the very first time. For weeks Feyd swung between mounting terror and inexorable, morbid fascination. Paul commanded a sinister allure, an unyielding pull he wielded as a razor and Feyd had been cut, deeply and with precision.
He has been bleeding since.
The one in which Paul and Feyd are murder husbands on the road and it's everyone else's problem.

In all honesty, it is Paul’s fault entirely. He had been the one to say he didn't need this. He had been the one to tell Feyd to keep his distance in the first place. He'd also been the one to let prickly arousal and irrational impatience win over the meagre boundaries they had.
As if what they had done two years ago wasn’t fucked up enough already, Paul just had to make it that much worse. He really is unredeemable.
In his defence he'd had a pretty shitty day, alright?
