"Sebastian, I'm sorry." Joseph's voice wavered, crackling from the walkie's speaker.
Not the kind of thing you wanted to hear when trying to talk your partner down from the proverbial ledge. Sebastian swallowed. "For what?"
"You know what. The report, what I said, all of it. I was-" Sebastian cut him off.
"Joseph, I don't think I can express enough to you how much I don't give a shit about the IA report anymore. I just want you to come home."

With a line of communication between the real world and STEM, where Joseph is trapped, the former partners only have each other's voices as they both push for answers.

Summary

He was wrong.
