It's just another world ending event. Just another one of Eggman's failed plans. Just another opportunity for Sonic the Hedgehog to save the day. It's maybe a little more dire than usual. Maybe the last ditch effort is considered a suicide move. He just needs to go a bit farther than he ever has before. Enter a form he never has before. Use more chaos energy than he ever has before.

Jazz has been sent on a recon mission with no plan of returning to earth, he has only his mind and Bebop's sound system to keep himself sane.
Prowl had a not so great day and got pushed through a Quint portal crash landing him on a previously undiscovered quint planetoid that is suspiciously devoid of any living quints when he meets the predator of what his species predator.Based on Keferon’s AU on Tumblr they have some wonderful art on the AU as well :)

Prowl is one of a dozen Praxian Enforcer Models created to infiltrate the paramilitary group of insurgents calling themselves 'Decepticons'.
When Praxus falls, her agents are left adrift. Some flee—to the Autobots or the stars beyond Cybertron. Others remain, having experienced very little of life outside the Decepticons, and having little desire to.
Prowl, deeply entrenched in their poorly managed tactical department, is in too precarious a position to risk any form of extraction. They all know it. And his fellow Praxians know better than to risk their own stations on old sentiment.
Enter Jazz, Decepticon T&I's newest darling, and the absolute bane of Prowl's existence.

Good thing too because things aren’t exactly friendly on Cybertron right now so he’s skipping town, maybe to a different city- or even an off world colony. He just has one last job to pull and then he’s off. His swan song- if you will. Unbeknownst to him it looks like it isn’t curtain call just yet.
