Kurapika actually answers his phone following the incident in East Gorteau. However, he still has exactly one goal: recover the scarlet eyes. Fortunately for him, meeting up with Leorio brings him closer to his target and the accompanying danger. Leorio can't help but try to protect him.

Summary
At eighteen years old, Meruem is a royal-blooded Chimera Ant with a flawless academic transcript, a terrifying intellect, and zero tolerance for undergraduate mediocrity.
