Summary
During a case outside of Gotham, Red Robin's path crosses with Red Hood's out in the desert. In between clumsy tourists, slippery leads, and trash talk that might be more fond than anything, Tim manages to get her point across. The point being, of course, that she's desperately thirsty, but not for the 4% beer they sell in this backwater town.

Somewhere between stitching up that graze on Tim's arm and getting her mind absolutely blown at the art gallery, Jay has to accept that whatever's between herself and Tim can only move forward if a) she actually makes a move, and b) it's enough to break whatever spell that keeps Tim pathetically tethered to Bernadette fucking Dowd.
Also, there may or may not be something wrong with Tim outside of her terrible taste, but that's none of Jay's business. Probably. Maybe.

Still, he's got a job to do, and he's going to stick at it, even with two divorced-situationship/whatever-the-hell vampires flanking him. Abolish can be professional about the whole thing. His two new coworkers, however...
AU in which Owen and Legs both survive VSMP and join Abolish in the shadow organisation. Neither are coping with working with the other in a remotely normal fashion.
