"A bunny," Lucas comments.
"Where the hell did it come from?" Dustin adds.
"Probably the neighbors. Who cares," Mike dismisses, rolling his eyes. "We have bigger problems right now. Just put it outside."
At that, the bunny squeaks. It shivers more, starts to struggle in Jane's arms and nuzzles against her. Almost like it's trying to tell her something.
Jane ignores all the arguing around her and looks at the little creature. Into its frightened eyes, at its drooped ears and chestnut fur. She stares for a long moment, then gasps.
"It's Will."
OR:
Will Byers turns into a bunny and everyone adores him.

"The next morning didn't start with a beautiful Vegas sunrise; it started with a harsh thumping inside Will’s skull that felt like an earthquake in his head
He let out a dry, rattling groan, his throat feeling like he’d swallowed a handful of the desert sand. Every inch of his skin stung – specifically his neck and a very suspicious patch on his lower back. Squinting against the brutal Vegas sun stabbing through the curtains, Will realized he was down to just his pajama bottoms. He swung his legs over the side of the bed, intent on reaching the bathroom, but his foot landed squarely on something soft and fleshy.
A muffled groan came from the floor.
Will looked down to see Mike sprawled on the carpet, still wearing his crusty button-down from the night before. Will gave him a frantic, toe-nudging kick. "Mike! Get up. I think I’m dying."
Mike rolled onto his back with a pained hiss, and Will’s jaw hit the floor. Mike’s neck and collarbone were a chaotic, purple-and-blue map of hickeys, and – were those teeth marks?"
OR: The party if they had a "Hangover" moment in Vegas for Will's 21st Birthday. [Basically a rewrite of The Hangover movie, but with the party]

Summary
There stood Mike, frozen like a statue. In front of him, Will was bent over, digging through the fruit drawer of the refrigerator. After a moment, Will straightened up with a ripe peach in hand. Ted watched his son continue staring at the exact spot Will’s backside had just occupied, wearing an expression of pure, hopeless longing.
Ted considered quietly backing out of the room.
"For God's sake, Michael," He said, instead. "Either take something out or close the door. I'm not paying to refrigerate the whole neighborhood."
Will turned around, blinking in mild confusion.
Mike’s face bloomed bright red. The blush was quickly overtaken by a scowl. He slammed the refrigerator door hard enough to rattle every magnet on it. “I was getting something! Sorry it took more than two seconds-"
“When exactly did your mother start storing the snacks in the back pockets of Will’s jeans?”
“Oh my God.” Mike spun on his heel and stormed toward the stairs. “You are so-" The rest was lost to thundering footsteps and the inevitable slam of his bedroom door.
Or, Ted realizes sometimes you need to be locked in the closet before coming out of it.
