Summary
With a groan Piers tried to bury his face further into the pillow. Maybe if he pretended like the outside world didn’t exist he wouldn’t need to acknowledge it in any way. His head felt heavy and when he inhaled he realized he couldn’t really breathe in through his nose, and that made him even more reluctant to get up at all. There was a distant kind of ache in his limbs, too, and although he was buried under the covers he couldn’t help but shiver.
He was really, really thirsty, though.
As soon as he got into the kitchen he found Leon, sipping his morning coffee. He wasn’t exactly a morning person so usually it wasn’t a good idea to come between him and his caffeine, but he was standing right in front of the drawer where they kept the painkillers so Piers kind of needed to. “Can you,” he croaked, making a vague gesture with his hand.
Leon looked up, lifting his eyebrows slightly. “You sound kind of rough,” he commented. “You feeling sick?”
