"Who is Crawley?"
Anthony stopped mid-stride across the bookshop office. He had a stack of empty cardboard boxes balanced precariously in his arms, but he froze entirely at the sound of the name, his amber eyes darting toward Asa.
Asa was sitting at his heavy mahogany desk. He had an old, battered manila folder open in front of him, one of the boxes Anthony had brought over from his own house earlier that afternoon. Asa was holding a small, faded piece of paper, adjusting his tortoiseshell spectacles.
"Put that down, Fell," Anthony said, his voice dropping an octave. He dumped the empty boxes onto the floor with a loud clatter. "You had absolutely no permission to go through that folder."

Summary
Anthony J. Crowley, retired astrophysicist and author of exactly one (1) failed book, is having a terrible Tuesday. His community centre lecture, with an audience of sleeping retirees, a knitting circle, and a man named Jim, doesn't go to plan.
Fortunately, Asa Fell, endlessly patient, is sitting in the front row. Asa knows exactly how to handle a tough crowd. More importantly, he knows exactly how to handle a highly strung, self-deprecating former academic who is currently spiraling into a scotch-fueled existential crisis.

Summary
“Yes, Crowley. Stay.”
And Crowley did—kneeling there in the firelight, a demon turned supplicant, his mouth a steady, unrelenting shrine to the angel who held his leash.
The rain battered the windows with unrelenting fury, a staccato roar that melded with the fire’s crackling heartbeat, but within the cottage, time seemed to stretch and warp, caught in the gravity of Crowley and Aziraphale’s shared orbit.

Inspired by GLEAFER Art.
https://www.patreon.com/c/Gleafer/"It comes through in flashes. First, it’s heat. A warmth spread across his skin, specifically his back, but it builds to an open flame. Burns through the very core of him and Aziraphale wonders if this is what it feels like to fall. Then hands. Rough. Grasping. Why would there be hands? There’s a breathlessness. That must be the fall itself. Oxygen deprivation as he plummets. That must be it.
But it doesn’t feel terrible. Shouldn’t it feel terrible? No, it feels… like power. Like liberation."
Aziraphale has never slept much. So when his nocturnal endeavours yield some surprising results, there's only one being in the universe that might be able to answer his questions. Only his demon's not talking.
