In which Buggy's fleet is attacked, and he has (more than) a bit of a breakdown. Spirals right into insanity, actually. Then Shanks finds him, and for the first time in 20 years get's a good nights rest. He can't understand why Buggy's in the situation he's in, or how he's managed to piss so many people off. He just hopes his crew on the Red Force will eventually learn to love the feral little ex-convict.

Summary
It starts with a mysteriously obtained journal entry, a captain's order to "turn the ship around", and a very, VERY angry Shanks. He doesn't kidnap Buggy so much as the Cross Guild gives him away to save their own skins.
Upon finding himself aboard the Red Force with only his most loyal companions by his side, Buggy decides to stay, if only to screw Shanks over in the end. Problem is, their past is filled with secrets that have him looking at the man in a new light. Kinda hard to screw someone over when they're currently screwing you.

Then, Clark’s eyes met his, and he pulled away so quickly that the sound of his retreat whipped through the air. His face, for a moment, was startlingly open, and naked grief cracked harshly through his expression like a fist shattering the surface of a frozen lake. Then, it was gone, and the slate was wiped clean as though there had been nothing but a mild smile there since the very beginning.
But Bruce knew what he’d seen.
“How long?” he asked.
Clark’s mouth twisted. “I don’t know why I thought I’d be able to keep it from you,” he said softly. “You know me too well. Was that even five minutes?”
“Clark.”
Clark’s lips turned up into a smile, fracturing his face, his eyes glittering shards of lapis lazuli. “How long for what?” he asked. “For how long we were married? Or for how long it’s been since you died?”
