Instead he stepped aside, locked it behind the blind lawyer in the ruined red suit, and went to the kitchen for the bottle of Jameson he kept for nights exactly like this

He began to make his way to the kitchen and sat at a small chair next to a circular table. Frank stood to the left of him, hands busy with scrambling eggs on the stove.
“So red, you got a name?”
“Do you actually wanna know?” Matt asked doubtfully.
“I’d like to call you something other than ‘red’ or ‘halloween costume’ so lemme hear it.”
Matt cleared his throat and placed a hand out in front of him, Frank turning to shake it. “It’s Matthew. Matthew Murdock.”
“Matthew… Matthew.” Frank said it twice as if he was trying out how the name felt on his tongue.
