Summary
The tch on Seto's lips is palpable. The inside of the car buzzes with humidity and impatience.
He hears the footsteps before his eyes register the weary figures in the mess of rain and wind. The car door opens and a warm gust of rain splatters on the seats. The umbrella that Isono holds is a mere skein against the torrent as Mokuba crawls into the back seat, his hair slick and wet, his cheeks and clothes damp.
He looks up, rain oozing down his forehead in rivulets. He blinks, owlishly—pauses for a second as if the image of his brother in that seat has just appeared before him and he didn’t imagine it—and then clamors into the seat.
Seto picks up Mokuba during a rain storm.
