Summary
Victorian London is not, by any measure, safe. The Smog, a fog contaminated by toxic facory smoke, is so thick that at night you cannot see a foot away from your face. Proof? The number of people who died because they accidentally walked into the Thames. The sheer amount of violent crime that never found justice because the perpetrator was never seen. So no. Victorian London is not safe. For Mouse, slight of frame, slave descended and meek of nature, it is practically a death sentence.

Summary
This is the dark ages. The Humans are locked in a seemingly unending conflict with the Phantoms (or vampires, ghouls, scum of the earth, whatever floats your boat) and the entire country is being steeped in the blood of the dead and the dying.
In this world of despair, however, strange things are occurring.
Three retired soldiers have reunited to root out corruption, evil, and that little wooden model of a goat his granddaughter gave him last week, he could have sworn it was here a second ago...
A rebel group is forming among the phantoms, led by the increasingly exasperated Phantom 58, hoping to overthrow their mysterious leader.
And one imprisoned Phantom has had this new guard for the early morning shift for three months, and is still nowhere near working out their species, gender, background, nationality, favourite food, whether they have a pet, or how to win an argument with them. He DOES know that their name is Toshiko, and they seem dead set on annoying him to death.
After all. People are still people. Even in the dark times.

Summary
WELCOME TO CHAOS. The Doctor recieves a distress call from another TARDIS and goes to investigate, only to find a mysterious lab carrying out illegal experimentation. Also, The Mona Lisa is ginger, a thirteen year old is quoting Shakespeare, another thirteen year old is screaming incoherent nonsense about flamingos, and the Doctor is struggling with the concept of a spring clean. Its all fun and games until the nightmares begin. And even then. Chaos has no limiter.
