Summary
After the war, Draco Malfoy returns to Hogwarts to complete his eighth year, determined to keep his head down, survive the glares, and avoid Azkaban worthy outbursts. But things never go as planned.
Especially when Hermione Granger, annoyingly brilliant and infuriatingly beautiful, keeps showing up everywhere in his Potions class, in the library, and, worst of all, in his thoughts.
Draco is adamant he doesn’t like her. Blaise and Theo are equally adamant he’s lying to himself. Pansy and Ginny become unlikely best friends with Hermione, leaving Draco with no allies in his campaign of denial.
Meanwhile, Ron Weasley’s jealousy spirals into insults and sabotage, driving Hermione closer to the Slytherins who actually respect her. Between forced study groups, sarcastic banter, prank wars, and stolen glances, Draco’s resolve begins to crack.
