Summary
The Kraang invasion has forced people out of their wilful ignorance surrounding the strange vigilantes protecting them. In the background of social media freakouts, personal stories, theory comparison, and the conspiracies hitting too close to home, the government is starting to get dehydrated with how much it’s sweating.
Yokai are done hiding, and clearly won't be able to for much longer with the number of mystical (and Draxum grown) threats floating around. Unfortunately, few are willing to come out of hiding or challenge their own prejudices to extend that particular olive branch.
Somehow, the dumbass turtles create solutions instead of problems.
OR: After the Kraang, people notice way too fast. Thankfully (Or perhaps unfortunately), their heroes are teens lacking in common sense with too much free time during recovery and access to social media. Somehow, this changes everything.
(TLDR: The social media, kind-of-sort-of racial allegory fic no one asked for and I made anyway.)

Summary
Yuri grew up in Russia. He knew the ropes of hiding any and all things queer from public view by the age of five. That is also when he discovered that something queer was going on in him. He detested the labels thrown onto him. It made him itchy, uncomfortable.
Things only got worse whenever he grew older. His clothes never sat right on his skin, his face felt too soft, and his chest swelled with an unquenchable rage.
So, he decided to come out to his grandpa. Who supported him so fiercely that he helped Yuri transition without the public eye having a clue. His old self was apparently a “relative” that passed away, quite unfortunate. Yuri? He was there the whole time, just quiet you see.
Gatekeep, gaslight, grandpa-boss.
Of course, transgender politics start hitting a new rise in popularity. With people panicking about trans people in sports, Yuri must pray (and do some scheming) to keep his secrets safe.
Of course, getting a found family at the same time isn’t too bad either.

The challenge is simple: Anyone who can get the tassel off the cat's neck will be granted the hand of its witch, Zanka Nijiku.
Jabber has no interest in marrying some stuck-up witch, no matter how pretty he may be. What he does want, though, is access to a certain witch's garden, and the poisons within. And if the only way in was getting that snooty cat on his side, he could make nice long enough for that. He'd always been a cat person anyway. How hard could it be?

Enjin thinks it’s not that bad. At least they have dental insurance.
