Jason and Clint meet, hook up and somehow develop a relationship and start caring about each other, when no one is looking.
Mostly OSs but the last one a longer instalment.
Some great dialogue and some POV changes in the later instalment. Otherwise mostly Jason POV.
Both notice and recognise so much about each other and I just adore how they handled each other’s sore spots and vulnerabilities ^.^
Feels complete, even if it isn’t marked as such.Definitely recommend reading!

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)

By cruel trick of the fates, intervention of stupid gods, or just the apathy of an uncaring universe I find myself woken up as Orochimaru just after he had possessed a woman for his new host. Now I need to find a way to turn this hoard of sycophants and psychos into something that will not only keep me from an early grave, but also how to change it to a force of change in this messed up world.
