Summary
After Gold Morning, Taylor finds herself in a world unlike any of the other Earths. Fashion from the 1920s is in vogue, someone they call the Avatar is a heroic force fighting to keep balance and powers come in the form of bending. Aimless and traumatized, she struggles to find the way forward away from everything she ever knew, without her powers and a conscience wracked with guilt.
A new path awaits her. She is given power once more, but it is not in the form of fire, water or earth that’s most common on this Earth. Instead, Taylor is given the element of air, the element of freedom and spiritual enlightenment.

Summary
Growing up as a Hispanic kid wasn’t the easiest thing in Brockton Bay, and Taylor Hebert knew it all too well. Looking more like her mother Annette than her father Danny, racism had always been something that Taylor had to deal with. Even with how bad things could get, however, she never imagined that she'd have to uproot her entire life in Brockton Bay and flee to another city because of it.
Starting over in Chicago as its newest Ward, Taylor must juggle between the pressures of being a teenaged superhero, her intimidating power, and a civilian life that is still trying to heal from the scars of Brockton Bay.

In a galaxy far, far away, and in a different life, Korra was once a proud Jedi Knight, to an order rebuilt from the ashes of the Manadalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War. However, with new threats that once again threaten the Jedi and the fragile balance of the galaxy, life is still far from ideal, especially so for Korra. Traumatized and with a severed bond to the Force like Meetra Surik before her, Korra must walk her own journey and decide for herself how, if possible, she can recover.

Joining the Wards wasn't a consideration for Lisa, but when she's presented with an offer she'd be stupid to refuse, she picks the smartest option. It's not like things will be boring for her. Between emancipation, paying rent, stirring up dumb teenage drama, and dealing with the machinations of a mastermind bent on ruling the city, she'll have plenty of things to keep her occupied.
More importantly, she'll have plenty of chances to show the world how smart she is.

But a late night at a gay bar that sprung up in the time since she’s been gone leads to a surprise the next morning, when she wakes up in bed with an unmasked Skitter. It turns out the two have a lot in common, and they really like each other. But will they be able to last the two weeks of the wedding, let alone any longer, or will the malignant fog of Brockton Bay and their histories with it tear them apart?
