Summary
Trapped in a world where your life is controlled by Royal standards. You are told what you can and can not do. There is no escape, your life is not yours, but theirs to mold. As a child he thought nothing of this, but as time moved forward the young prince knew he was truly alone.
There is another who is also trapped in a world where his life is nothing. Born an imp, the lowest class of demons in hell. Forced to perform death defying acts at such a young age. Only because your father is a poor circus clown. His only support is his mother. Only due to his jealousy is lost in an explosion of flames. True it was an accident but to him it was by his doing. A mother lost forever and a best friend nearly died that day.
Both of these souls have suffered great, but they have not yet come to their peaceful happy ending. In time they may learn from each other, support each other. But for now they have no clue the other even exists.

If he was only here for the book, he’d be feeling pretty good. Perhaps, in another world, he was celebrating at a bar right now, book in hand.

IMP never succeeded. Instead, Blitz has joined a rebellion. Their target: Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia and his mystical Grimoire. Blitz doesn't know why the Rebellion needs Stolas, he doesn't know why he's been asked to take the prince from the palace.
He also doesn't ask.
Unfortunately, the prince is not what Blitz expects. The rebels' motives are questionable. There's more at play here and Blitz knows it. When Blitz is tasked with keeping the prince safe from Rebels and Goetia alike, he can't help but feel something for Stolas.
It makes him question everything he's ever known about the Rebellion. About the Goetia.
And now he has to decide what's more important: his dreams of a new world, or a prince that has wormed his way into Blitz's heart.
