Here, rather than choosing to believe in her friends, to allow her love for them to overcome her shame and self-loathing, Rumi makes a stunning decision, turning against everything she has known and fought for. The repercussions of that one choice may well spell doom for Rumi, her sisters, the honmoon, and the world itself.

Zoey looked like she was about to cry, “Rumiiiiiii, how did you live like this for so long?”
“It sucked. It felt like I could never really get close to you or Mira. Like, my patterns were an invisible wall between us. That’s why I felt so drawn to Jinu. During a fight, my shirt ripped, and he discovered what I was. He helped me cover it up, and we started to become close. It was nice not having to hide and talking to someone who understood.”
Zoey pulled Rumi into quite possibly her tightest hug yet, which says a lot considering it’s Zoey. “You’ll never be alone again. I’ll always be here if you need to talk.”
Rumi’s face feels hot, and she can’t stop the smile that spreads on her lips. “Thanks Zoey.”OR
Following the events of the movie, the girls have to confront the damage done by years of lies. Rumi struggles to get Mira to talk to her, while getting closer than ever to Zoey. But what if Rumi wasn’t the only one who had been hiding secrets all these years?

But that was Celine, she kept things functional. As long as everything looked fine on the surface, whatever churned below…that was for Mira to deal with. For the sake of the Honmoon.

Summary
Rumi puts the pencil down again, and reads over her letter.
‘Good thing I’m not giving this to them, my thoughts are all over the place…’ she thinks to herself bitterly. Times like this, she really wished she had Zoey’s knack for writing things down so eloquently. But then again, Rumi never really had the opportunity to get her feelings out in the open since Celine drilled into her that her faults and fears must never be seen. This letter goes against everything her that was instilled in her from an early age, but seeing her thoughts has release a weight of her shoulders that she didn’t realize she had been carrying. She still felt heavy, but not as bad as it had been.
Or
Every time that Rumi wanted to tell her girls that she was half-demon, but wrote them a letter instead of actually talking to them (or give them the letter).
