Grace Pastel is a young girl who lives a cozy life in Jubilife city with her father, and for her, Pokemon battles are just something that she watches on television or online. Entertainment to be seen at a distance. After turning fifteen, she watched as young people her age got ready for their first journey across Sinnoh, all aiming to become the Champion. Summary
For the better part of three years, they have managed to keep their affair a secret. Their friends have often wondered why Lena is single and Lena’s only response is that she’s married to L-Corp and it is a cruel and demanding mistress, which, to be fair, is also true. She turns everyone down, focusing all her efforts on L-Corp and servicing Kara whenever she needs it.

The wind howls like a banshee, and Lena shudders, her teeth chattering. She clings to her phone like a lifeline.
She wishes she could curl up and cry into Sam’s lap. Or Kara’s. Anywhere but here.
Even Kieran is silent, both of them spent. Lex’s narcissistic abuse once again nearly destroyed her, and the betrayals of others add icing to a horrific trauma cake.
“I promise I’ll get on the next flight out there,” Sam says, her voice tinny but still comforting in the phone’s speakers. “Just please, let me text Alex or Kara to come get you, okay?”
“Okay.” Lena feels small. Like she’s shrinking into the ground. Soon to vanish into particles of dust to be washed away by the fury of the storm. “I trust you.”
